Sleep apnea can also lead to a host of other health issues, like diabetes, heart issues, stroke, Alzheimer’s, and acid reflux. Dr. Tigran claims it’s possible to tell if someone has this issue from the day they’re born and correct it early on. Now that the differences between snoring and sleep apnea are clear, it’s pretty obvious that the latter should be immediately treated. Nonetheless, that doesn’t mean that a regular snore shouldn’t be treated. As a matter of fact, it should also be treated.
A snore is a noise. No matter how light a snoring is, it still counts as a noise in the night. That could still be a cause for sleep deprivation, especially for one who sleeps lightly. So why let a snore get in the way of a good night’s sleep?
